Brown rice and pear “oatmeal” 🍐

Today I decided to do something different for breakfast! ☺️ So, I did brown rice “oatmeal” and it turned so much better than I thought 😋 I will definitely be doing this recipe again and try with other flavours and toppings 🙌
I hope you like it as much as I did 🥰

Brown rice and pear “oatmeal” 🍐

Ingredients:

•1/2 cup cooked brown rice
•1/2 cup almond milk (rudehealth)
•1 tsp maca powder (shinesuperfoods)
•caramelized pear
•peanut butter
•toasted pumpkin seeds
•cinnamon to taste

Directions:

•In a small saucepan, bring the almond milk to a boil and then add in the rice. While the rice is cooking add the maca powder and the cinnamon, letting simmer for 5 minutes or until all the liquid has absorbed into the oats. Place the “oatmeal” in a bowl once it’s fully cooked and top with the pear, peanut butter and pumpkin seeds. If you like you can add any other toppings you enjoy the most!
